The fine print, kept short

Privacy

This is a small site about the Hill Country. It collects almost nothing, and here's the almost.

What we collect

Nothing — unless you put your email in the "tell me when the merch drops" box. If you do, we store exactly three things: the address you typed, when you typed it, and which form it came from. That's the whole record. No name, no location, no tracking profile.

What we do with it

One email when the shop opens. We don't sell the list, share it, or sign it up for anything else. It lives in our own Cloudflare storage until the drop announcement goes out or you ask off — whichever comes first.

Getting off the list

DM @blancohillco from any account and say the word — we delete the address, done. No forms, no "are you sure".

Counting visits, not people

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which tells us how many people opened a page and roughly where in the world they were — and nothing else. No ad pixels, no tracking cookies, no profile of you, and nothing that follows you to other sites. We mostly use it to find out which stops people actually read.

The site also keeps two small conveniences in your browser only: a flag so the logo intro plays once per visit, and (when the shop opens) a cart id so your cart survives a page reload. Neither leaves your device or identifies you to us.

Third parties

Pages load from Cloudflare. When the live Instagram feed or the shop is on, images may load from Instagram's and our print partner Fourthwall's servers — like any image on the internet, those servers see the request. Checkout, when it opens, happens on Fourthwall's hosted checkout under their privacy policy; we never see your payment details.

Photos

The photos here are ours, taken at the places we visit. We strip camera metadata — including GPS coordinates — from every image before it's published.
